We are seeking an experienced **Retail Financial Analyst** to join our team on

a full time basis, at our site in Crestmead, QLD.

**More about this role**:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the finance, planning, and analysis needs of Snapfresh, and other Retail business units within dnata catering & retail. This function supports the Commercial Manager, in product costing, pricing analysis, labour modelling and supplier spend reviews.

The Retail Financial Analyst is a true Business partnering role and works closely with our Commercial and Operations teams across two different sites to enhance efficiencies, identify problems, and optimize our overall business outcomes. To meet all service expectations, this role will also need to have a strong customer focus.

**What are your responsibilities?**
- Supporting with finance related tasks including reporting and analysis for Snap Fresh and other retail business units.
- Using data analysis techniques, analysing costing, inventory, sales and adhoc KPI to support business decisions.
- Provide commentary on variances to budgets and forecasts including identifying trends and performance of key metrics.
- Successfully communicate and co-ordinate information from customers and stakeholders to facilitate accurate task completion including preparing power-point presentations and dashboards.
- Responsible for product pricing including pricing arrangements with customers
- Generate adhoc pricing requests based on customer requirements and company’s pricing strategies.
- Proactively anticipate and prioritise requests to ensure timelines are met.
- Present and seek approval of completed tasks prior to external communications.
- Assist with various finance duties, including month end, debtor’s follow-up, detailed analysis, and journal posting and GL accuracy for month end reporting.
- Assist with business case development, financial modelling, and analysis.
- Invoicing matching governance and integration with new systems.
- Assist with customer orders generation and fulfilment.

**What do you need to be successful in securing this role?**
- Commercially minded accountant with strong analytical and MS Office skills
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant areas of Finance, Accounting, Economics
- A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a similar role will be highly desirable.
- Requirements to have a strong attention to detail.
- Display sound business and relevant industry knowledge.
- Strong experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to participate in group projects, contributing to different areas when required for a project or group of stakeholders.
- ERP (JDE and QAD) database systems experience will be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of business intelligence and dashboard tools will be advantageous.
