A fantastic permanent opportunity exists for a Commercial Analyst to assist with management of the financial and commercial activities for ALM Northern Region (QLD). This role will provide support in commercial analysis and strategic planning to enhance the viability of the ALM QLD business.

What you’ll do
- Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts including review of monthly P&Ls. Responsibility for customer rebates (monthly accrual and analysis) and maintenance of the rebate register. Business expense management as well as monitoring key internal control systems. Balance Sheet reconciliation management.
- Assist the Commercial Manager and senior management with executing the strategic plan and ensuring business process review and improvement.
- Assist the Commercial Manager with budget and forecast preparation plus analysis of sales reporting. External customer and supplier reporting. Preparation of pricing comparisons to ensure competitive position.
- Prepare daily claims/ageing reports and weekly scorecards. Be a specialist responsible for all aspects of inventory related & pricing related Customer Claims. Assume a key management role between Logistics and customer service in all ALM claim related matters.

What you will bring
- 3 + years’ experience in a similar role
- Accounting degree + CA/CPA qualified.
- Previous experience in an FMCG environment
- SAP/Microsoft Dynamics experience beneficial.
- Very strong MS Excel skills plus Power BI experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and effective time management skills.
- Able to identify opportunities to make positive change, and independently develop solutions.
- Positive and collaborative relationship building techniques both internally and externally.
