**About**:
A Top 10 Australian law firm is looking to bolster its Melbourne team with an experienced Banking & Finance Associate. You’ll work with key, high-profile clients, and enjoy hands-on work, and have your work and contributions be recognized and rewarded. You’ll also have the opportunity to branch out and work with other teams / sectors, including the Insolvency, Corporate (M&A) and Property teams, allowing you to diversify your expertise and refine your approach.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Provide tailored advice to clients to ensure an optimal outcome.
- Manage and prioritise your cases and files with attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain client relationships and expectations through regular and effective communication.
- Support your Seniors on a wide range of matters:

- Corporate Finance
- Property & Construction Finance
- Fund work
- Asset Finance
- Receivables Financing
- Advisory work in multiple fields including Personal Properties Securities Act (2009).
- Minimum 5.5 billable hours per day.
- Draft relevant legal documents for cases.
- Manage files independently and approach your cases holistically, integrating broader perspectives and client-related factors

**Conditions for Success**:

- Minimum 4 Years PQE in Banking & Finance Law
- Able to work collaboratively and support each other.
- Adept commercial understanding, and ability to interact with clients from a range of backgrounds, industries and sectors
- Communication Skills - Fluent and Clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, and can listen and follow instructions readily.
- Attention to detail - quick learner with expert analysis and approach to cases.
- Ability to prioritise and manage matters effectively.
