Commercial Flooring Project Lead

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Lead various concurrent tiling projects; both large and small, planning and programming of works including plant and labour resourcing
- Oversee client liaison, through direct contact with your direct reports managing and maintaining quality of the works
- Lead a team helping to manage the site area in a fast-paced and demanding environment and supervise of works and sub-contractors.
- Monitor quality and WH&S on the project
- Track progress on your section of works
- Inspect, interpret plans, measure and mark surfaces to be covered and lay out work
- Prepare tiled surfaces, waterproofing & Screeding/Floor levelling
- Set out colours and patterns for design projects
- Undertake Floor & Wall Tiling, preparing and ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and shaped

Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant work experience (in tiling and/or project leadership)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills, organisation and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to plan and carry out their work to commercial standards of quality
- Ability to install related materials and components as appropriate to the specification
