**Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a Floor Supervisor to join the team based at the Sydney Depot on a fulltime basis.**

**Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the floor staff working in the cold room area working this shift
- Oversee loading and unloading of freight by floor staff
- Conduct room checks of cold rooms and dry docks
- Conduct stock take of all cold rooms and dry docks
- Keep up to date with housekeeping with the staff
- Operating a forklift for loading and unloading of freight
- Working in operations when needed.
- Report any issues to Site Manager on a daily basis
- Quality assurance of all working being conducted on the floor
- Ensure place is kept clean delegate staff to ensure all work is completed and the place is sufficiently maintained.
- Supervise the loading of vehicles in cold room areas
- Hand over at the end of shift

**To be successful for this role applicants must;**
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Good attention to detail
- Car licence
- Forklift licence
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Reliable and honest
- Self-starter
- Flexible and resilient
- Willingness to persevere with challenging tasks
- Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
- Well-developed communication skills
