**Oriental Merchant **is a leading importer and distributor of authentic Asian groceries, supplying supermarkets (Coles, Woolworths, independent grocery stores) with brands (such as ABC, Lee Kum Kee, Valcom, Yeo's) that are familiar throughout the Asia Pacific. We are proud of what we have achieved in growing Asian food categories in Australia where we have a presence nationally, as well in New Zealand, Europe, Canada, Japan and the UK.

**This is an Incredible opportunity for an Accounts Executive.**

**The Role**:

- Follow up on, collecting and allocating payments
- Preparing, verifying, and processing credit notes
- Performing account reconciliations
- Follow established policies & procedures for processing receipts
- Preparing bank deposits
- Resolving client queries
- Credit check and liaise with operation to release account in daily basis
- Customer file maintenance and creation of new customer accounts.
- Performing other related duties as required to support the team.

**What You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Full Australian working rights;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese;
- ** A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance, or background in a similar Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable role;**:

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage expectations;
- An ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
