**About the Role**:
We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced people leader to oversee the management of the CAPEX programs of work and construction work programs. Using your strong financial acumen, governance experience, and your ability to influence, this role will ensure the accurate and efficient forecasting, planning and delivery of the program and achievement of related financial and operational objectives.

This position will lead the team and manage the processes and activities relating to the governance, controls and compliance, forecast, planning, analysis and reporting for the works program. **What else you’ll deliver**:

- Lead the program and portfolio management ensuring inclusion and delivery in the annual CAPEX and overall construction works program
- Develop and maintain the strategic works-resource plan governing delivery of the works program for both immediate and future needs
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely and commercial resource and capacity planning in order to maintain alignment and delivery of the works delivery program
- Oversee full project governance and compliance in order to provide best practice governance and support, ensuring accuracy in project forecasting of timeliness and cost.
- Ensure accurate and aligned financial and works program forecast and delivery reporting suite, with an economic focus, factoring risk and working for best outcome
- Lead the continued development of the function, roles and responsibilities within the team, and create a collaborative team environment focused on service delivery excellence

**To succeed in this role you’ll have**:

- Experience in Program Management delivery, advanced knowledge of contracts, legal contract conditions, contract and compliance management
- Strong analytical, reporting, business writing and problem solving skills, experience in commercial and financial management particularly arounf forecasting and reporting
- Solid Project Management Principles experience and/or working in a senior accounting / finance role in program management or portfolio project management
- Experience leading and developing teams, as well as supporting change, encouraging others and influencing outcome
- Excellent commercial and business acumen, supporting the ability to develop, implement and measure risk based strategic plans
- A Tertiary Qualification in a financial discipline &/or engineering
- Project Management qualification or experience looked upon favorably
