**HOST / RESERVATIONS**

We are recruiting for a casual restaurant host to be the first point of contact for our customers.

Our venue is made up of bar seating, private dining rooms, two levels, as well as over 200 seats which regularly turn each service. It is imperative we have the right person at the front door, someone cool, calm and collected, someone with their finger on the pulse of all areas of the venue, who is able to deal professionally with guests, with Crown management and concierge, who can work with a team of hosts and enjoy the challenges of the day to day running of a venue this size and quality.

**Essential requirements**:

- Australian working rights
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, use common sense and work as a team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
- Computer literacy a must
- Minimum of one year working in fine-dining or hatted restaurants
- Experience with SevenRooms or other online reservations platforms
- Hours can vary, availability for Saturday evenings is a non-negotiable
- All employees will be required to undergo a police check

**Tasks include**:

- Answering phones and taking reservations using SevenRooms
- Hosting during services as required, which does include nights and weekend, including table management using SevenRooms, meeting, greeting and seating guests, initial drink orders and menu presentation, table resetting, and more.
- Support tasks for the operations staff during service, as required - tasks may include such things as approaching guests to complete data cards, polishing cutlery/glassware, reprinting menus, processing vouchers, processing bills, helping staff take out or clear plates, and more.
