**Your new role**
This role will require you to;
- Support the drafting and preparation of legislative amendments, legislative instruments and regulations
- Contributing to the development and implementation of legal policies and advice, including research and analysis of information from a range of sources
- Building and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing draft briefs and other written advice including ministerial correspondence for Ministers and senior Departmental Staff
- Work in line areas to understand legal issues and risks, request appropriate legal advice and implement legal advice in a practical way

**What you'll need to succeed**

- Strong Analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work flexibility on multiple issues, and perform under pressure
- Strong project management skills and capabilities
- Innovative and lateral thinking capabilities
