The Communications team of the Corporate Services branch provides innovative, best practice advice and support, ensuring information reaches the right people, using the right channel, at the right time. The team works with internal and external stakeholders to raise public awareness of the work of the Courts and the Tribunal. Our goal is to educate, inform and uphold the Courts and Tribunal’s reputation as a trusted and respected institutions.
We are responsible for internal and external communication including all Court and Tribunal websites and intranets, social media channels, electronic newsletters, events, publishing and brand identity. Across the team we have professionals with diverse experience including journalism, public relations, graphic design, web content strategy, marketing and events.
We are seeking an experienced annual report coordinator for a full-time 6-month opportunity, with the possibility of extension. This role will help to coordinate the development and delivery of the Annual Reports for the Federal Court of Australia (including the National Native Title Tribunal) and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1 and Division 2), assist with other communication related tasks and assist in the preparation of the Corporate Plan.

- Strong interpersonal skills, including discretion, integrity and sensitivity.
- The ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative, flexibility and sound judgment, including identifying ways to improve processes.
- Ability to produce clear, concise and well-presented written material.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, including the ability to manage workflows, competing priorities and work effectively to short timeframes.
- 3+ years working experience in an internal/corporate communications role with a strong focus on annual reports.
