How this role supports our work
In this role, you will support stakeholders across the organisation with a strong focus on Fundraising and Marketing to enable them in making data-driven decisions by providing analysis, reporting, and dashboards to address a variety of business needs.
The role is responsible for supporting Fundraising efforts via the development and delivery of campaign management, data targeting, improved reporting capability, reporting, analytics, data mining and process automation.
The role is also responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, developing analytical and reporting process automation to drive efficiencies, creating documentation for transfer of knowledge, and peer review to ensure only accurate, high-quality deliverables leave the Analytics and Reporting team.
What you will do day to day
- Work with the Marketing and Fundraising Teams to create direct marketing campaign briefs, execute and analyse the performance of the activities in a test & learn, continual development framework
- Build selection segments and coordinate data extracts, automating where possible
- Undertake analysis, create reporting, and provide insights to stakeholders across the business on a broad range of topics and issues
- Develop dashboards in Power BI to support ongoing management reporting requirements and ongoing business user data needs
- Address data related issues to maintain data and reporting quality
- Peer review work created by other team members to ensure quality deliverables
- Contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise systems, governance, policies and processes to enable data-driven decision-making
What you will bring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive in identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and identifying solutions that address business needs.
- Sound knowledge in direct marketing, data targeting/selection, data analysis and reporting
- Proven ability to unearth insights in data - and to explain data/reporting to stakeholders in non-technical language
- Growth mindset with a strong focus on continuous learning and improvement (in support of both organisation and own professional development)
- Ability to influence stakeholders to improve processes and data collection methods
- Working knowing of Microsoft Office, SQL, and data visualization tools required (Power BI preferred)
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM & Customer Insights Data / Journeys an advantage, or similar CRM / direct marketing tools
