Treasury Analyst

Working as the Treasury Analyst for Tascorp based in the Hobart CBD.

Hays are proud to partner with the Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation (TASCORP) with the recruitment of a highly capable Treasury Analyst to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. TASCORP is the Central Financing Authority for the State of Tasmania. Based in the Hobart CBD, the Corporation borrows funds in domestic and global markets and provides a range of financial services to the State and Government owned entities, including local governments.

**Your new role**
Working as a Treasury Analyst on a permanent full-time basis based in the Hobart CBD, you’ll be Reporting directly into the Manger of Financial & Management Reporting. This role will be responsible for;
- Develop and prepare daily, monthly portfolio analysis
- Build data visualisations
- Develop and modify reports from the Treasury Management system
- Develop and maintain forecasting across budgeting, monitoring, and forecasting business plans (Including capital expenditure
- Provide assistance to the Manager of Financial & Management Reporting as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent analytical skills (Including advanced Excel skills)
- Comfortable working with data sets
- High degree of attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively under pressure of looming deadlines
- Knowledge of Treasury activities and financial accounting
- Possess excellent Microsoft office skills
