PFD Food Services began life in 1943 amid the noise and chaos of the Melbourne Fish Markets. **The Role**

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Analyst to use data to influence strategic direction, budgets, sales and commercial decisions. This role will be covering both Tasmania and South Australia from an analyst perspective.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To facilitate, support and maintain the pricing review for the state
- Prepare data analysis reports to establish profitability of various sections of the business;
- Undertake analysis in regards to pricing/margin changes and it's effects on the business;
- Communicate findings and recommendations to the business leaders;
- Forecasting of sales and margin with financial data available;
- Identify areas for sales/margin improvement through analysis;
- Support various teams on large-scale projects relative to the organisation’s commercial position.

**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Qualification in Finance or Business course (Diploma or higher);
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite especially Excel skills;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise
- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders within the organisation
- Ability to adapt to new systems and find solutions
