**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Event Assessing Coordinator (ASCO) to join our dynamic team for a 12-month contract role. As the Event Assessing Coordinator, you will be accountable for managing the assessing workflow, providing essential support to Assessors, Repairers, and Customers, and ensuring operational efficiency. Your role will involve coordinating assessments, conducting data analysis, and providing administrative support to enhance the overall claims process.

In this role, you will also take on a leadership role during events, assisting with the coordination of temporary staff, the activation of assessing response plans, and delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their peace of mind throughout the claims process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service Excellence**: Deliver professional service to customers, Repairers, Assessors, Building Coordinators, and Stakeholders, adhering to Suncorp's standards of excellence.
- **Effective Assessing Workflow**: Allocate Assessors and Repairers, proactively manage safety risks, and provide facilities and administrative support for operational efficiency.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**: Analyze assessing data to identify insights that inform business decisions, and collaborate with leaders to report on Assessor SLA performance.
- **Proactive Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensure compliance with internal policies, and report any suspicious activity.
- **Event Coordination**: Assist in event response planning, support temporary staff, and actively contribute to the overall success of claims handling during events.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process and customer experience improvements, share these insights with leadership and peers, and support ongoing learning and development.

**Key Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or leadership roles.
- Solid understanding of the general insurance industry and claims processes.
- Experience with Suncorp’s Claim Centre & in4Mo, or ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering brilliant customer experiences.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly analytical with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and adapt to large-scale surges during events.
