**Description of Role**:
In this role you will be responsible for managing new and existing customer sales for the Diabetes Division. The key customers are Health Care Professionals (HCP’s) and end users. This includes but is not limited to; calling new leads and opportunities to promote product, establish and provide education on the products, building and maintaining existing relationships. You will be the inside sales contact person contributing directly to the growth and success of the Diabetes Division. You will report to the National Sales Manager
**Essential Duties**:
- Achieve monthly sales goals and meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
- Sells Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) to potential new and existing customers by discussing Dexcom products; helping them understand the value of CGM
- Maintain a business relationship with HCP’s and their staff to facilitate document collection required for patient initiation
- Collaborate and work cohesively with field sales representatives in the execution of sales activities, and territory management follow-up
- Utilises CRM for seamless communication on activities and management of customer database
- Assists customers with the ordering processes
- Prepares correspondence to be distributed to HCP’s, consumers, and internal colleagues
- Troubleshoots and seeks solutions to problems related to questions and concerns over orders, and sales enquiries
- This position assumes other duties as assigned by management
**Essential Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

- Unrestricted work rights within Australia
**Preferred Requirements**:
- Knowledge of Diabetes
- Ability to understand medical jargon
- Ability to interpret clinical information
- Previous sales/customer service experience in the medical or related industry
**Field Sales**:
- Office based position
- Flexibility to accompany the field sales team to in-field appointments and events as required and directed by management
**Experience and Education**:
- Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
**Workplace Type**:
- The Workplace Type for this role is Assigned Desk. Based on the nature of your role you will have an assigned desk or office located at a Dexcom site and should plan to be onsite approximately 4-5 days per week.
