Job Description Summary
BD Biosciences is offering a rare opportunity to join our high-performing team in a full-time role that blends Inside Sales and Digital Marketing to drive commercial success across Australia and New Zealand. This hybrid position is ideal for a commercially minded, digitally savvy, professional with demonstrated experience in inside sales and marketing, looking to accelerate their career in a globally respected life sciences organization.
You will be at the forefront of our digital revenue generation strategy—leveraging eBusiness platforms, marketing automation, and CRM tools to convert leads, grow customer engagement, and drive sales through digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Revenue Generation & eBusiness Strategy
Execute BD Biosciences' eBusiness strategy to increase online sales of reagent portfolios.
Manage the full e-commerce lifecycle, including customer onboarding, account setup, and catalogue optimization on the BD website.
Drive revenue through third-party e-procurement platforms (e.g., Unimarket, Science Warehouse), ensuring seamless integration and ongoing support.
Identify and convert new digital sales opportunities by partnering with research institutions and procurement teams.
Collaborate with field sales to transition traditional customers to digital purchasing channels, increasing efficiency and order frequency.
Implement and support Punchout systems for customer procurement platforms, enabling streamlined digital transactions.
Deliver monthly performance reports with actionable insights on digital sales metrics, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
Coordinate and execute targeted digital campaigns using Marketo, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other platforms to generate qualified leads and drive product awareness.
Maintain and optimize the BDB website to support lead conversion and customer retention.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure digital assets meet branding and quality standards.
Manage CRM data integrity, lead tracking, and contact segmentation to support sales funnel optimization.
Support the development and deployment of social media campaigns that align with portfolio objectives and drive traffic to digital channels.
Skills & Experience
University degree (Science, Commerce, Marketing majors)
Demonstrated experience in inside sales and marketing, digital marketing and inside sales role within life sciences or a related industry.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for digital innovation.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Marketo), CRM platforms (Salesforce), and digital advertising (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Twitter).
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
