**About the role**

As a Risk Executive, you’ll be required to monitor all bets being placed on a range of sporting events and use your best judgement to find the balance between risk mitigation and optimal customer experience. Our aim is to delight our customers with our sports betting proposition, so we need our team to be customer obsessed to achieve this.

Some of your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Support the trading of all sports by monitoring and reacting to bets in real time
- Perform customer analysis using a variety of tools
- Compiling reports highlighting betting trends and customer behaviour
- Ensure our market offering is prominent online but also complies with the various state regulators
- Building relationships with key stakeholders around the world
- Manage company risk on these markets including profiling customers daily
- Collaborate with staff in our various US stores to ensure our customers get the best experience through timely settlements
- Proactively resolving customer queries or issues in a timely manner.
- Put yourself in the shoes of the customer to ensure that the journey they experience when using our products is seamless from start to finish.

The FanDuel team at Sportsbet adopt a flexible 5 day working week policy based on customer needs to ensure a great work-life balance for our staff, however there is a requirement for weekend work. Shifts will fall between 7am - 6pm with weekend work performed from home.

- A passion for numbers with a good understanding of percentages and probability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- An effective communicator who can work as a close knit team and collaborate globally via different methods.
- Attention to detail with the capacity to adapt quickly to changing situations.
- A self-driven and energetic person who loves being busy, thinking outside the square and happy to be flexible whilst we grow
- Someone who has an understanding and knowledge of American/US sports and the wagering industry is desirable but not essential.
