Legal Practitioners Liability Committee (LPLC) manages the compulsory professional indemnity insurance scheme for Victorian law practices and many national law firms. It is a leader in its field with a team of specialists working in a positive and collegial environment.
In this rare and exciting role you will lead a team that supports insured law practices to better manage their professional risk exposures and prevent claims from arising. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and as a key member of the Executive Leadership team, you will use portfolio-wide claims data and legal practice experience to continuously improve LPLC's multi-faceted risk management program for practitioners. You will also manage and coach a team of five direct reports.
This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer to step into a pivotal, future-focused role and make an impact in delivering class-leading risk education, loss-prevention advice and risk management resources for insured practitioners.
