To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a
**Principal Process Safety & HSE Risk **to join our team.

**The Role**

In addition support the implementation of the Process Safety Management (PSM) Framework and HSE Plan, and its associated processes and systems, the maintenance and update of the Arrow-wide and Business-specific HSE Risk Registers. The role require managing and mentoring of a small specialist process safety team.

Provide technical process safety assurance and support across the business, including for projects, operations and well delivery.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required.

**In addition you will**:

- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Stewardship of the Arrow Process Safety and HSE Risk Management Standards, including technical support to develop and maintain HSE Risk Registers, and identify process safety hazards and mitigation plans.
- Manage a team of technical and process safety specialists.
- Manage programs to improve HSE Critical Competencies for process safety.
- Work with the business to develop procedures for integrity in design and construction; maintaining technical and operating integrity of HSE critical equipment.
- Assessment and classification of process safety incidents, including loss of containment incidents.
- Provide leadership and a strategic approach to Process Safety, by developing and implement strategic improvements for process safety, and coaching senior leaders.

**About You**

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a strong strategic focus to improve process safety.

**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:

- University degree or equivalent qualifications in engineering or science, or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in positions with significant technical process safety management.
- Specific experience in development, implementation, and assurance of safety process standards and assessments.
- Specific experience in facilitating HSE risk workshops.
- Detailed knowledge of process safety aspects and management requirements.
- Resource industry experience.
- Experience in development of organisational Process Safety and HSE Risk strategies.
