We are looking for a temporary Principal Policy Officer to help shape the direction of child protection in Queensland by joining our Strategic Policy and Legislation (Child Safety) team in the Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services (DCSSDS).
As a Principal Policy Officer in Strategic Policy and Legislation, you will have the opportunity to lead a team that is focused on ensuring our child protection policy and legislative frameworks are fit-for-purpose. In this role, you will provide expert strategic and legislative policy advice on proposals that impact children in contact with Queensland's child protection system.
You will have the opportunity to lead Cabinet and legislative processes; contribute to consultation; undertake legislative policy analysis; and contribute to shaping our policy frameworks.
