Contracts Officer position within a well-established Local Government procurement team
Your new organisation

This local Government council is going through a period of rapid growth, meaning they have many exciting development and construction projects currently in their pipeline. They currently have an opportunity for a Contracts Officer to join their team on a 6 month temporary assignment with potential extension or permanency.

Your new role

Within this position, you will be responsible for tendering, quotations and evaluations, as well provision of advice and oversight on procurement matters. This position is reporting to the procurement and contracts manager and works alongside another contracts officer.

What you’ll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will need to have prior experience in Government procurement or have experience in procurement and an interest in a career in Local Government.

What you’ll get in return

- $45 - $60/hour + superannuation
- Free parking
- 1 day working from home per week
- 9-day fortnight
- Flexible start and finish times
