Deco Contracts Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, fostering a culture of safety, and supporting our commitment to excellence across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and review WHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and inductions to staff and subcontractors.
- Maintain WHS compliance with legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
- Promote and embed a strong safety culture across the organisation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Excellent knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
