**Description**:
As the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at MUJI Retail (Australia), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's image and connecting with our audience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and public relations initiatives to enhance MUJI's presence and drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

- Develop, promote and execute comprehensive marketing plans within budgets to increase brand awareness, customer engagement and sales growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing and PR efforts with overall business objectives
- Localise global marketing strategies to suit the Australian market while maintaining alignment with global brand standards
- Manage digital marketing activities and MUJI Australia's homepage
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, influencers, industry professionals and our parent company, RKJ
- Analyse and report on all promotional activities including in-store, online and e-newsletters, etc
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovative marketing and PR strategies
- Lead the marketing and PR team by providing guidance and support in achieving departmental and organisational goals

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in PR/Communications, Marketing/Media or similar
- Demonstrable marketing and public relations experience within a retail environment
- Strong understanding of brand management, with a strong alignment to MUJI's values
- Customer centric approach, adaptable and collaborative mindset, with a desire to innovate and make continuous improvements
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with strong project management and organisational skills
- Proficient with design and content creation tools (Adobe, Canva, etc.)
- Intermediate PC skills, Excel and MS Office suite
- Familiarity with CRM, CMS and digital analytics tools, with an ability to draw insights, recommend and implement changes to maximise sales, etc
