**The Opportunity**:
A fantastic new role is available for a **State Operations Manager - QLD** to join the Komatsu Forklift business based in Brisbane.
Dual reporting lines to National & Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and efficiency of the branches managed and to lead and manage the activities around the Service and Parts teams.
We are looking for an individual who possesses strong operational skills and has experience with mentoring of teams, territory management and strategic planning. Bringing in new business through solutions selling initiatives and maintaining a high level of rapport with all clients and teams.

**Key responsibilities include**:
- Directly lead, mentor and manage the opertions of the business
- Achieve budget, profit and market share expectations
- Grow external service, parts and hire customer database
- Manage Service and Hire contracts
- Monitor daily progress the team and branch's toward successful monthly outcomes.
- Communicate the Branch objectives and goals to all team members and empower them to take appropriate business actions.
- Encourage each team member by recognition and training where required
- Recognise areas of poor performance, both customer satisfaction and financial, within the Branch and to rectify situations to the satisfaction of KFAP customers, team members and management
- Listen to the individual and collective wisdom of the team, recognise achievement and celebrate victories as a group
- Keep senior management informed of trends, current activities and forecasts of expected activity.
**The knowledge, skills and abilities we're looking for**:
- Experience working in Material Handling Equipment Industry or a similar industry is required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Highly developed sales and customer service skills
- Ability to demonstrate product knowledge including mechanical and technical aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and maintain a proactive call plan
- Customer centric with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Suite Applications
- Good analytical and conceptual skills.
- Strong HSE Understanding
- Current driver's licence
