**Your new role**
In your new role as the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination and control of various maintenance activities carried out.
Your main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the planning and coordinating the facility maintenance works
- Visiting sites, warehouses and other venues to gather essential information
- Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission
- Foster relationships with key clients, vendors and subcontractors
- Ensuring that works in progress are in compliance with specified, planned and statutory requirements, and that a safe work environment is maintained on site.
- Responding to reactive maintenance work as required and completing it within the nominated time-frame.
- Providing estimates and quotes of small projects as requested.
- Cost control & invoicing of works as completed.
- Establishing and maintaining the various safety and environmental documentation, control measures and signage required for the works.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Hold a general Construction Induction card.
- Relevant working experience in the construction industry.
- Proven team leader and management experience.
- Strong safety, environmental and quality commitment.
- Able to plan and manage various work orders.
- Experience in professional office and field work environments.
- Able to organise and manage budget monitoring and scheduling processes.
- Able to deligate tasks to complete goals and schedules.
