**What will you do?**

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety and Injury Management Advisor to join our broader People & Safety team.

You will be involved in the roll out and management of a variety of initiatives to facilitate health programs and improve site safety and well-being as well as implementing early intervention strategies, provide best practice injury management, and manage workers compensation claims. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the Health and Injury Management space

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing our Workcover Insurance Programme by ensuring all team members are appropriately trained, producing regular reports, as well as maintaining an effective relationship with our Workcover agent to ensure our claims management is compliant
- Working with our teams, Workcover agent and health professionals to develop treatment strategies, as well as implementing and auditing injury management processes, including early intervention and injury minimization
- Developing return to work plans and continuously monitoring team member participation in rehabilitation
- Assisting with the development and implementation of key regional and group health & safety projects
- Identifying health and safety priorities, current and future challenges, and opportunities for improvements
- Provide training and guidance on new or amended processes or symptoms that sit within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing space

**Who are you?**
- Have at least 5 years experience in managing Victorian Workcover claims and return to work, preferably with experience working in a complex work environment
- You have a proven track record managing a Workcover Insurance Programme, ideally with a background in claims management and contract renewal
- Experience in Injury Management and / or safety & wellbeing project work from design to implementation (ie. process improvements, well-being programs and initiatives)
