Today, Moose Toys is now seeking a Global Assistant Brand Manager on a 12 month contract.
**Role Objectives**
Assist in the development and implementation of brand and product strategies to support company objectives for allocated Moose Brands and Licensed Products; including promotional and marketing programs, overall product and brand life cycle management, asset creation and administration and management of key agency relationships.
With guidance from Global Brand Manager, drive the marketing planning and execution for Little Live Pets and Scruff-a-Luvs. Leverage support from US Lead team member on input into product development cycle.
**Responsibilities**
Business Planning
- Support Global Brand Manager (GBM) identify market gaps based on intimate understanding of retailer and competitor activity.
- Participate and learn the BDO process.
- Participate in the development of the exclusive product offer and ensure offer fits brand DNA and will meet standard margin expectations.
- Seek guidance and input from MBO and US Marketing Team on the ongoing product development and marketing of The Grossery Gang brand.
- Provide support to the GBM portfolio including timely communication, asset management and toyfair planning.
- Identify where cost efficiencies can be gained (product, marketing program etc.).
- Consumer Marketing strategy - implement marketing and communications plans for allocated brands.
- Performance Analysis - Conduct pre and post brand performance analysis, along with regular market and competitive data analysis and report findings.
- Inventory Management - demonstrate an understanding of stock inventory and forecasting to meet required sales objectives.
- Support GBM with PNL management for your brand portfolio.
Product Management
Work with Lead Market and Product Management team to:
- Help define and communicate final line plan and product launch timings.
- Learn how to develop a TLP and supporting profit and loss.
- Liaise with sales and marketing team on brand issues including product development, brand direction, strategy.
- Play an active role in brainstorming sessions and review meetings to further product management exposure and experience.
Marketing
- Assist in the development of annual brand plans aligned to organisational objectives for designated brands. For owned brand, create and present seasonal brand plan.
- Ensure TVC and content briefs are completed on time and with sign off from key partners. Work closely with Producer to ensure on time delivery.
- Work closely with Content Manager to identify the short and long term role of entertainment for brands in portfolio.
- Support the GBM to liaise with US, AUS and EXPORT and ensure there is a robust trade strategy including point of purchase material.
- Undertake relevant market research e.g. Focus groups, reporting findings and providing recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct post analysis and report key learnings after major campaign periods
- Provides hands on assistance at all major events, such as Toy Fair, November Showings, road shows, in-store demonstrations and staff functions.
- Build robust relationships with key external agency partners - app/game developers, media partners and global social - to deliver impactful and cost-effective programs that all territories can leverage/ localise.
- Forge strong partnership with US/AUS/Export key brand team to plan and agree key asset list for brands each season and support with brand updates.
- Constantly challenge how we maximise the digital space via DOT COM retailer and our own assets. Test and learn to remain relevant in the digital space.
- Keep informed of all regulations re marketing to children in key markets such as US, UK, Australia.
