**Position Overview**: We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as the Head Barista for our Press & Grocers Co. (St Ali Cafe). As the Head Barista, you will be responsible for leading the coffee program, ensuring exceptional beverage quality, and providing leadership and guidance to the cafe team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the coffee program by selecting and sourcing high-quality coffee beans, developing recipes, and maintaining consistency in beverage preparation.
- Train and mentor cafe team members in coffee-making techniques, including espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Oversee daily cafe operations, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring equipment maintenance.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by providing product recommendations, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Create a welcoming and engaging cafe environment for customers, fostering a sense of community and hospitality.
- Develop and implement promotional activities and special events to drive cafe sales and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the store management team to optimize cafe performance and contribute to overall store success.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a head barista or senior barista in a high-volume cafe environment.
- Extensive knowledge of coffee origins, roasting techniques, and brewing methods.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a passion for creating memorable experiences for customers.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to beverage quality and consistency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Barista certification or relevant training is highly desirable.
