A Week 1: Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun Week 2: Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri (7am-3pm)

B Week 1: Mon, Thur, Fri Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun (combination of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm)

C Week 1: Thur, Fri, Week 2: Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun (combination of 3pm-11pm and sleepovers 11pm-7am)

D Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun Week 2: Mon (combination of 3pm-11pm and sleepovers 11pm-7am)

E Week 1: Thu, Fri, Sat Week 2: Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat (Wakeovers 11pm-7am)

F Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sun Week 2: Mon, Tue, Sun (Wakeovers 11pm-7am)

**Te mahi angitu - The opportunity**

You will be supporting a client in their own home based in Pegasus. You will be part of a small team responsible for all aspects of the client's personal cares including but not limited to high complex spinal cares, medications, passive, exercises and working toward rehabilitation goals. Support staff will also be responsible for household management which will include housework and completing laundry. The client is looking for someone who has a good sense of humour, fun to be around, able to assist with administration tasks (as he gradually returns to work) and has experience and ability build rapport with the children as well as dogs. Our client is looking for someone that will provide support but also be able to maintain good boundaries.

You will help empower this client to access their community, and achieve independence, inclusion, and quality of life after a spinal cord injury. Our client is seeking an exceptional team with the opportunity for a genuine and authentic connection to develop over time.

**Ko wai koe - About you**
- You will have a level 3 or 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent
- Be able to communicate effectively
- Be reliable
- Have a keen interest in helping others
- Be able to work in partnership with our clients
- Be able to maximise the independence of our clients whilst encouraging choice, initiation, and participation in activities
- Have the ability to demonstrate efficient time management and the ability to work autonomously and be part of a team
- Have a full driver's licence
- Be willing to work within the mission, vision, and values of the organisation
- Previous experience of support work and working with people with disabilities would be advantageous, particularly spinal cord injury.
