**About the Role**:
**Role Responsibilities**:
As the Clinical Care and Governance Manager, you will report directly to the Executive Management team, and lead the organisation in its clinical care, governance, quality and improvement processes to ensure the smooth and ethical operation and maintenance of Your Side. You will also be involved in:

- Developing, implementing, and maintaining new services whilst ensuring existing services are in line with relevant regulatory quality standards.
- Giving clinical and operational advice to a wide range of internal stakeholders in a clear and accessible way, ensuring that clinical and quality assurance strategies, obligations and expectations are explained from a best practice and compliant perspective
- Managing and leading frontline and support staff by liaising, supporting, and educating team members including care workers, consultants, and the executive management team and board members
- Training and educating both the internal team and external providers on the organisation's social care model of quality and compliance.
- Leading and conducting internal audits of Your Side's clinical care policies, capabilities and procedures.

**Essential Requirements**:
To succeed in the role, you will be a fantastic communicator and people manager with extensive knowledge of Clinical Care and Governance frameworks within the Aged Care sector. You will also have:

- A tertiary qualification in Nursing with previous supervisory experience and a maintained AAHPRA registration
- A strong understanding of the risk, quality and compliance framework within the Health and Community Care systems, and the willingness and ability to educate, teach and mentor staff and other stakeholders in clinical governance procedures.
- Experience in effectively developing, designing and presenting new policy, strategy and operational plans to a wide range of internal stakeholders
- 5+ years managing and leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to sensitively and effectively move a team through a period of change.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present and handle complex sector-related quality and compliance procedures and mechanisms to a broad range of internal stakeholders.
- A valid NDIS workers screening check, or willingness to complete.
