**Position**

**YOU** will be joining the Enterprise Integration Services team assisting the business mature the Cloud Capability environment alongside other key deliverables.

**Responsibilities**
- Create short-term and mid-term plans to maintain efficient and cost-effective cloud environments that support the needs of operations and project activities, with accountability on the cost optimisation of the environments.
- Mature the organisational cloud capabilities through the development of roadmaps, policies, standards and procedures, including providing input into the cloud capability vision and capability horizons for maturity such as the development of orchestration and automation capabilities.
- Liaise with the Business Relationship Management teams to ensure concepts that utilise cloud solutions are strategically aligned and developed within standards and best practice.
- Work with the Cyber Security teams to ensure the secure operation of cloud environments.
- Provide input into cloud solution architectural designs based on industry best practices that deliver cloud optimised solutions (horizontally scalable, automatically provisioned, containerised solutions, etc.), including performing endorsement roles during Architectural Review Groups.
- Define and agree deployment schedules with Program, Project, Application teams and Release Management and Testing teams to reduce friction between competing projects and operational activities.
- Monitor and guarantee up-time and availability of the all environments. - Communicate cloud provider initiated planned downtime on environments to stakeholders and work to minimise the impact.
- Monitor and communicate cloud provider market offerings and industry trends that will inform the organisations resource profiles, solution designs, platform selections, road maps and strategies.
- As required and when directed by the General Manager of Service Delivery Assurance, provide the cloud platform specific recommendations into: o Escalated and Priority incident resolution; o Environment monitoring and service level objective achievement; and o Ensuring Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans are developed, tested and executed correctly.
- Undertake other duties as required/directed as service needs change or grow, consistent with the above and within the scope of the position and any other legal or industrial obligations

**Skills**
- Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology or other relevant discipline.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
- Highly proficient in the design and management of solutions operating on major cloud platforms in an enterprise environment, specifically within Azure.
- Strong experience in the migration of on-premise solutions to cloud-based platforms.
- Experience in the development of best practice governance controls including policy, standards and procedures development.
- A strong understanding of cloud product and service offerings by common platform delivery providers, particularly Azure and AWS.
- A sound understanding of ITIL service management in the context of cloud-based operations.
- An understanding of architectural design methodologies and standards, such as TOGAF.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suites.
- Sound working knowledge and understanding of ITIL Methodology.
- Results focused with strong planning, analytical and communication skills.
- A collaborative work style with the ability to understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner.
- Proficient in Linux environments
