We're seeking a
Data Management Platform Specialist
to administer and maintain GHD's Informatica Cloud environments, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and seamless integration across the enterprise. This role will contribute to the Enterprise Data Management Platform strategy and help uplift and train the business on platform processes and standards.
In this dynamic role you will:
- Administer and maintain Informatica Cloud environments by configuring system settings, managing user roles and permissions, and ensuring platform stability through regular monitoring and performance tuning.
- Oversee upgrades, handle outages, patches, and integrations to support seamless data operations and scalability.
- Contribute to the overall Enterprise Data Management Platform strategy and its implementation across GHD.
- Work across GHD to establish, deliver, uplift, and train the business on Enterprise DM platform procedures and processes.
- Foster strong relationships with technology custodians and stakeholders to ensure engagement and support for DM platform decisions, rollout, training, and long-term adoption across data domains.
- Contribute to the end-to-end DM Platform framework, ensuring the establishment of a robust onboarding model for business units to meet their data ambitions through adoption of enterprise DM standards and platform.
- Manage all backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes and procedures; monitor servers and troubleshoot related issues.
- Produce professional and high-quality DM platform training, analysis, reports, communication, and presentations as required.
- Establish and maintain data lineage across operational systems and enterprise data lakes, ensuring traceability, governance, and compliance with organisational data standards.
- Continually build your knowledge of GHD's business and technologies and keep up to date on industry and technology trends.
What you will bring to the team:
- Proven experience in DM platform administration, with the ability to communicate effectively, share insights, and train platform end users.
- Proficiency in managing IDMC services, including Secure Agents, runtime environments, and taskflows.
- Experience configuring and managing connectors and enabling API-based connectivity for SaaS platforms and services like Azure, AWS S3, and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and understanding of IAM roles and token-based authentication for secure integration with cloud services.
- Skills in scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting data sync tasks across hybrid environments.
- Experience optimising data loads and transformations for large-scale cloud data platforms.
- Ability to configure and manage multi-tier access setups with users/groups/roles in DM platforms.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary degree in Computing, System Administration, Technology, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of data management platform administration experience in a large and/or global professional services organisation.
- Hands-on system administration, maintenance, and operations support for development and production environments.
- Strong experience with data management tools such as Ataccama, Collibra, Informatica Claire & MDM, Trillium, and Alation.
- Experience working with SaaS products and cloud providers such as GCP, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
