This Federal Government organisation is at the forefront of science and technology in Australia. The day-to-day research and infrastructure of this organisation is relied on by various stakeholder groups, but is also called upon by Australians in our every day life.

Working in the Melbourne CBD with flexible work options, this will be an initial 6-month contract with a view to extend an additional 6 months.

Collaborating with the Project Manager and team, the Learning and Development Designer will have the following experience.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience using contemporary instructional design principles to design, develop, implement and review blended learning courses
- A track record in developing knowledge, skill and job competency-based assessments
- design and produce engaging and informative learning products and resources
- establish courseware for online learning portals or intranet sites
- provide instructional design advice to ensure the most suitable resources are implemented to meet learning outcomes
- Familiar with online learning and development tools such as Articulate Rise 360 toolset, Office 365, SharePoint and Moodle LMS
- Ability to undertake administration tasks on the organisations learning portal including software updates, user management, backups and reporting
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant qualifications in Training and Assessment or Training Design and Development or will be highly regarded
