Laverton North, Australia ATLAS WASTE MANAGEMENT Full time

We are currently seeking a Trade Assistant with some experience and exposure to mobile plant - specifically working around plant, machinery and trucks, assisting fully qualified mechanic with day to day duties at our Laverton workshop.

Most duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Basic machine servicing, compliance checks and inspections
- Day to day workshop tasks
- Upholding a strong safety culture - regularly assisting in providing safety checks and inspections
- Assisting in troubleshooting where possible
- Liaising and keeping open lines of communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Keeping the site as clean as possible - regularly cleaning equipment, plant and machinery as well as keeping workshops and sheds tidy and risk free.

To be successful in this role, we ask that you:

- Have relevant tickets and licenses.
- Strong safety sense with knowledge of basic workplace practices
- Excellent communicator
- Knowledge of use around basic hand & power tools
- Knowledge and basic exposure to plant & machinery
- Basic computer/Tablet skills an advantage
- Transport to and from our workshop

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
