**The Opportunity**

Veris have a large fleet of vehicles consisting of over 300 vehicles operating across our 17 locations. We require an experienced Fleet Manager to join our team in Sydney, responsible for the management of our fleet nationally.

**Roles & Responsibility**
- Develop and maintain an accurate and comprehensive asset register for all equipment and vehicles
- Proactively contribute to the ongoing use and improvement of existing equipment and vehicle management systems and processes
- Negotiate supply contracts and lease agreements in accordance with Veris acceptable business risk parameters in relation to vehicles and equipment
- Proactively work with business leaders to identify and maximize utilisation and cost synergies across the national business
- Regular reporting of the status, cost, and performance of Veris assets, including highlighting anomalies, to ensure the business is well positioned to make informed decisions
- Monthly reporting on vehicle and equipment usage and costs by region
- Identify opportunities to improve vehicle and equipment purchase/lease arrangements
- Engage positively with internal and external stakeholders to foster good relations and support for Veris operations.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of regional and business unit budgets as they relate to vehicle and equipment
- Ensure internal controls and management information systems are in place, relevant and effective as they pertain to vehicles and equipment
- Actively manage the allocation, mobilisation and cost recovery of the identified key equipment.

**About You**

You will be an experienced Fleet Manager who has operated on a national scale.
- Proven experience in the transport industry or feet management within construction would be desirable
- Knowledge of service and parts operations
- Experience leading a large fleet nationally
- Experience in business planning and regulatory issues
- Excellent IT skills to record data analysis and performance metrics
- Proven ability to diagnose operational problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
