**About the Opportunity**:
The Early Childhood Regulatory Authority is responsible for regulating early childhood services in Queensland under the National Quality Framework. This position provides essential support to a fast-paced compliance team.
The Regulatory Support Officer reports to the Director, Regulation, Early Childhood Regulatory Authority.
About the Role
The Regulatory Support Officer provides administrative and procedural support to enable the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority to undertake its functions under the early childhood education and care legislation. Responsibilities include:

- Acting as the first point of contact, monitoring and following up on regulatory matters and prioritising work according to risk
- Implementing administrative procedures to ensure efficient intake and progression of regulatory matters in accordance with the education and care legislation and principles of good administrative decision making
- Coordinating team workflow using regulatory systems and databases, ensuring correct data capture and review
- Providing support in the maintenance of records, and regulatory and records management systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with information management requirements
- Responding appropriately to all stakeholder queries with accurate information in a timely manner
- Participating in initiatives to improve regulatory processes and achieve regulatory objectives
- Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, reports, briefs and other documentation in a timely manner while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
