**Payroll Officer/Supervisor - Melbourne Based with flexible working - Global Renewable Energy**

They have offices on every continent and are currently experiencing a significant period of worldwide growth.

**About the role**
Based in Melbourne, the position will involve 2 major aspects of payroll. The Payroll Officer/Supervisor will be the standalone Australian based contact for payroll management of a work force of 100+ staff in Australia & New Zealand. The second part will involve taking a lead role in the company transitioning payroll systems and process from current software to brand new systems. The role will involve working with international counterparts and assisting in translating Australian & New Zealand payroll requirements.

**Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years payroll experience ideally within operational/engineering/contracting businesses to understand the requirements
- Strong understanding of New Zealand payroll requirements in addition to Australian
- Must have experience in transition and implementing new payroll systems
- Experience in working with international companies and liaising with offshore counterparts
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with operational staff based across Australia & New Zealand
- Excellent problem solver and able to adapt to change in the transition process
- Strong Payroll software experience
