Principal Advisor

Manage, or contribute to, the end to end delivery of fleet maintenance projects and prepare complex project documentation.
- Prepare long-term state-wide maintenance plans for fleet asset groups that forecasts annual maintenance expenditure in detail and manage external maintenance contracts.
- Establish maintenance standards and procedures for assets and equipment in line with manufacturer's specifications, legislative requirements and policies and processes.
- Manage and direct multi-disciplined teams state-wide, focused on the achievement of key performance indicators and continuous improvement and development of fleet workshop processes, policies and procedures.
- Provide effective team leadership and direction and foster an outcomes focused workplace and continuous improvement culture.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships and networks including representing Fleet Assets at high level forums focusing on the identification of emerging trends and innovation opportunities.
- Prepare and coordinate comprehensive reports, ministerial correspondence and briefing material relating to fleet maintenance operations.
