About Chapel Hill State School

About the Role
Chapel Hill State School is seeking for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Administrative Officer (Accounts Payables/Purchasing Officer) for a temporary contract with the possibility of extension for 36.25 hrs per week plus ADO. As the Administrative Officer, you will contribute to the effective and efficient management of the school by providing relevant and timely service to the School Community and administrative support to the Principal, Deputy Principals and Business Manager.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Front Office contact for all visitors, student, parents and staff.
- General office duties, filing and work as a member of the team to provide effective and efficient general administrative support, including data entry and additional admin support as required and directed by the Principal and Business Manager.
- OneSchool Finance processing of accounts payable invoices and purchasing officer (Purchasing delegate training desirable).
- Manage student absences, roll marking, updating unexplained absence records, processing of early and late slips for students, and SMS absence messaging and Assisting students with First Aid needs during class times and administering medications when needed (current First Aid and CPR certificate highly regarded, or willingness to obtain qualifications).
**We are looking for a team member with the following skills**:
- High level customer service.
- Someone who is friendly, well presented and articulate.
- Ability to prioritise, multi task, and operate autonomously when needed.
- Ability to work as a team in a busy environment.
- Microsoft Office Suite (required) OneSchool and Agresso (desirable).
- First aid and CPR qualified or willing to obtain qualifications.
