**Associate **within our integrated planning and design team, you will have the opportunity to guide Arup's cities position, influence city-shaping projects, and win work. With your expertise and our global network of planners you’ll drive innovation and iconic project opportunities for our Queensland business.

This position is based from our
**Brisbane **office.

**What will I do?**
- Provide leadership and mentoring to other Planning & Design projects to ensure profitable and successful project delivery.
- Significant contribution to business development activities for the Integrated Design & Planning Team and the wider Advisory, Planning and Design portfolio’s.
- Seek innovative solutions and methods to add value to clients, the environment and society.
- Contribute to recruitment, appraisals, performance development, morale and motivation of staff.
- Support work winning activities.

**What will I bring?**
- 10+ years experience and relevant degree in urban planning and/or transport planning
- Well-developed ability to think strategically and formulate innovative plans and solutions (both for clients, and in relation to broader business planning and work winning activities)
- Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels, both internally and externally to Arup
- Ability to drive best practice urban and design decisions and outcomes on projects within project budget and time constraints
- Team leadership/management, client management and business development accumen
