The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an Planning & Environment Lawyer to join a growing Brisbane-based team. The role is open to lawyers at Associate or Senior Associate level, with flexibility for part-time candidates who bring high-quality experience.
This new role has been created to support practice growth and service an existing premium client base. You'll gain exposure to both front-end advisory work and specialist litigation, developing expertise across a broad range of matters, including:
- Environmental and planning approvals for major projects
- Land access, native title and cultural heritage issues
- Advisory and disputes across multiple jurisdictions
- Supporting energy, resources, renewables and infrastructure developments
You will report directly to a partner with over 20 years' experience, consistently recognised in Chambers & Partners as a leading environment and planning lawyer. You'll benefit from close mentoring and client exposure on high-value matters for both private sector and government clients.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in environment & planning, native title, land access or related areas
- Strong written and analytical skills, with sound judgment and reasoning ability
- Comfort working across jurisdictions and handling both advisory and contentious matters
- A genuine commitment to continual learning and delivering outstanding client service
