We represent an elite Australian commercial law firm who have offices nationally.

The firm represents major public and private sector organisations in high value transactional, advisory and disputes work across a range of industries. They also advise a number of Australian government entities.

As an upshot of growth, their Brisbane office is looking for a Lawyer or Associate to join their premier Environment, Planning & Native Title team.

**Environment, Planning & Native Title**

The Environment, Planning & Native Title group has extensive experience in advising on all aspects of environment, planning and native title law, including assisting clients in obtaining all necessary planning and environment approvals and complying with those approvals through the entire lifecycle of a project.

The practice has an enviable client list which includes both government bodies and major Australian companies.

**Position Description**

Due to growth, the Brisbane office has a rare opportunity to join this team.

You will be working most closely with a truly leading partner, often on matters of national significance.

You can expect to have exposure to matters including:

- Environmental licences and approvals
- Contaminated land
- Aboriginal cultural heritage
- Native title
- Land access
- Mining and exploration tenements
- Planning approvals.

The role will offer a mixture of exciting work.

**Key Requirements**

**12 months years'** post admission experience from a notable environment and planning practice.

In addition, you will have:

- an ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- strong technical skills.
