The Role
Join Bega as a Group Quality Specialist – Standards and Shape the Future of Food Safety
Are you passionate about driving excellence in food safety and quality? Do you thrive in a role where your work directly impacts industry standards and customer trust? Bega Group is looking for a Quality Specialist – Standards to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of our Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS).
In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of setting and maintaining the national standards that keep our products safe, our customers confident, and our reputation strong. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure our systems meet and exceed industry, customer, and market expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and ongoing improvement of FSQMS to meet Bega, regulatory, and customer expectations
- Own and manage Group Quality documentation, ensuring timely updates and effective communication
- Keep external standards (GFSI, regulatory, customer-specific) current and integrated into our systems
- Support certification, verification, and crisis management activities across the business
- Provide expert guidance on document control and quality systems, helping teams embed food safety into every process
About you
- Strong planning skills to ensure FSQMS documents align with GFSI and customer standards
- Ability to interpret data and translate FSQMS requirements into clear, engaging training materials
- Expertise in document control system management and helping others navigate them
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to foster a culture of change
- A degree-level qualification and hands-on experience with GFSI standards, audits, and cross-functional collaboration
