**Programs Lead, Cherry Creek Youth Justice Precinct**

**The opportunity**
- VPS 5 role earning $105,479 - $127,621 per year plus super
- Lead and implement, organise, and coordinate engaging after-hours programs for young people at Cherry Creek
- Deliver successful programs supporting rehabilitation of young people
Programs Lead will report to the Manager Programs and Evaluation and is responsible for the management, successful delivery and evaluations of programs supporting rehabilitation and positive outcomes for young people. The Programs Lead will identify, coordinate, and implement engaging programs such as art, sports, music, cooking, and other activity based rehabilitative programs. The Programs Lead will also contribute towards the development with ongoing recommendations and review of the programs to ensure successful delivery and outcomes for young people.
The Programs Lead will also participate in programs ensuring young people's participation and engagement with education, health, mental health, courts and case management and any other service provision targeted to a young person's needs.
The Programs Lead will collaborate with other Youth Justice teams to support the delivery of Aboriginal and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (CALD) programs at Cherry Creek. They will also work with the Youth Justice operations team to ensure the effective delivery of a fully structured day at Cherry Creek this will include effective timetabling of programs, and ensuring cohesive, integrated supports that meet the individual needs of each young person.
**_ To be successful in the role, you will be skilled with knowledge about rehabilitative programs for young people. You will be an independent leader with the ability to multitask and collaborate with various stakeholders._**
**_ Experience in delivering activity based rehabilitative programs in a custodial facility is desirable_**
