Reporting to the National Workplace Relations Manager
- the **People Partner **plays** **an integral role in ensuring all aspects of workplace relations including investigations are conducted fairly, without delay and in line with Aruma’s values and legislative requirements.

You will serve as a pivotal reference to the People teams in providing strategies to resolve a wide range of WR issues including performance and consequence management.

- Key responsibilities:_
- Provide timely advice and information to the People team regarding the prevention and resolution of WR matters, including grievances, formal complaint management, disciplinary matters, and terminations.
- Contribute to consultation and change management planning/scheduling and recommend strategies from an WR perspective.
- Interpret policy frameworks, industrial instruments, legislation, and other relevant resources, providing advice and direction on the intent of the frameworks governing employment conditions, grievance management and performance management.
- Represent Aruma in the Fair Work Commission (“FWC”) including conciliation conferences to defend unfair dismissal or general protection claims.
- Represent Aruma as the contact point for Union matters delivering a professional working partnership with external bodies and Unions

**About you**
- Degree qualified in Human Resource Management or similar.
- Strong WR experience (5+ years) including development and assistance with the negotiation of enterprise agreements.
- Demonstrated evidence of knowledge of contemporary workplace relations issues and best practice, and the statutory and regulatory framework in which workplace relations operates; extensive knowledge of Australian legislative frameworks including the Fair Work Act & Regulations, National Employment Standards and Awards
- Previous experience working with a highly unionised workforce and negotiating with Unions.
- A full Australian driver’s license, with the ability to travel intra or interstate as required.
