This is a great opportunity to join a busy Federal Government team as their APS5 Project Officer.

**About the role**:

- Assisting in project management and coordination activities, monitoring and reviewing program and project activities
- Development and management of project plans and schedules
- Performing research work and analysis including to preparation of reports
- Project reporting
- Drafting written material including business cases, plans, briefs and corporate documentation
- Monitoring project budgets, and assist with procurement and contract management
- Assisting with project quality management of project risks, issues and benefits

**About you**:

- You will ideally have extensive experience working in project or program management
- You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- You will be someone who can take a solutions-based approach to problem-solving
- You will ideally have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You will have intermediate to advanced IT skills and competent in Microsoft Suite

**Benefits**:

- ASAP start date (pending police clearance)
- 12-month temporary assignment
- Full time hours Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5pm)
- $53.63 per hour + Super
- Brisbane CBD Location
