
Bid Management Specialist

Under direct supervision, may complete assignments of limited complexity, requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Assists in proposal writing and presentations.
- Produces regularly scheduled reports from marketing database.
- Is able to analyze and present data for purpose of evaluation.
- Demonstrates the ability to organize, process, and present information, requiring good communication skills.
Minimum Requirements
+ Prepare and produce high level bid submissions
+ Manage the go/no go process including initial meetings and assessment
+ Write non-technical components
+ Coordinate input of technical components
+ Develop and edit graphics
+ Review and edit proposals
+ Advice and support to local tenders and proposals (e.g. how to structure a response document, how to answer a question, where to find the information)
+ Maintenance and management of an accurate proposal database
+ Review, filter and distribute tenders received from online tender search services
+ Proposal filing integrity
+ Brand compliance
+ Maintain bid and opportunities database and work with Bid Manager’s to produce relevant reports
+ Coordinate the writing and client approval of Project Profiles
+ In conjunction with the marketing team develop marketing collateral (capability statements, skill sheets, project data sheets and CV’s) in line with corporate guidelines
+ Provide assistance to the Marketing team to work on bids for other groups where required
+ Produce reports and other general material to support Business lines
+ Maintain, develop and retain the highest appropriate standard of bid coordination skill
+ Commit to continual professional development and learning on relevant business and marketing matters
Client
+ Understand the importance of timeliness to internal and external clients. Achieve reliability and credibility in regard to meeting deadlines. Be punctual. Lead by example.
+ Proactive in meeting clients’ expectations and requirements
+ Liaison with key stakeholders for information required
Financial/Project Management
+ Maximise billable time where project manager confirms that it is possible to book time to projects.
+ Complete timesheets on a daily basis, allocating time correctly against job numbers
+ Ensure that invoices received are correct and approved before passing on to accounts department.
Internal Business
+ Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times
Other
+ Any other duties AECOM may reasonably require you to perform
Preferred Qualifications
+ Degree level qualification in Marketing or similar
+ Previous experience in a Bid Management role
