**ABOUT THE ROLE**.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Bid Manager to lead marketing and bid management in the Melbourne office. Our marketing team covers 14 people across the globe who help win impactful work, and grow our brand.

This role is ideally suited to someone who can collaborate with the Victorian team, lead the business in understanding marketing priorities and operate independently to create outstanding bids. We don’t expect you to understand the technical aspects of project management, but we are looking for someone who can help craft the writing with our experts. The role will report to our Group Head of Marketing with a dotted line to the General Manager of Victoria and will focus on the following areas:
The strategic marketing elements (30% of the role):

- Help our business understand and report on our pipeline. This involves using Salesforce and regularly working with directors to understand opportunities.
- Manage pipeline dashboards
- Build the Victorian marketing plan
- Help our project directors develop account management plans
- Support B2B marketing activities such as our Strategic Account Program, thought leadership, event coordination and campaigns.

The Bid related elements (70% of the role):

- Prepare and manage major proposal and tender submissions
- Assist with the strategic elements of bids, including crafting win themes and executive summaries, facilitating workshops, sourcing new opportunities and managing a robust qualification process
- Timely management and coordination of tender activities and submissions
- Assisting account plans/strategies and creating case studies and collateral specific to accounts
- Maintain quality control procedures for all proposal submissions

The role requires excellent organizational skills, ability to manage competing deadlines, and a strong collaborative approach to produce high quality proposals that represent our brand.

**ABOUT YOU.**
- 5+ years as a bid manager, preferably within a professional services environment, with additional years spent as a bid writer.
- You are comfortable managing a bid pipeline in an online platform
- Confident in facilitating bid strategy and qualification sessions
- Excellent communication and relationship building capabilities
- Excellent time and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Experienced in client-focussed programs, either with strategic account management or communications
- Excellent written skills with a keen eye for detail
- A value adding team player who is willing to learn and share knowledge
- Understanding different bid strategy methods such as RAIN or Shipley will be highly regarded
- Experience in supporting the delivery of marketing and business development strategies, including collateral development
