**Public Sector People** are working with a local council in the south suburbs of Brisbane (LOGAN) to recruit
**MULTIPLE **experienced Community Program Officers for temporary contract positions until end of the year with possible extension or even permanent arrangement.

The purpose of the role is to work with the local community to plan, develop and implement Active and Healthy lifestyle programs, School Holiday programs ensuring activities are equitable, accessible, affordable and responsive to local community needs.

This role offers Variety No day will be the same. Working with multiple internal and external Stakeholders. You will be driving Local Programs within the community and be able to experience your success

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Coordinate the delivery of the Active and Healthy School Holiday programs including planning, developing, implementing, reporting and liaising with service providers.
- Assist with the marketing and promotion for the programs with the aim to increase participation.
- Responsible for processing evaluation reporting and invoicing for all service providers of the programs.
- Maintain emerging technology and systems that are implemented and are required for reporting purposes.
- Analyse data and prepare relevant documentation to assist with reporting to senior management and external funding bodies.
- Coordinate the distribution of flyers, website editing, database management, participant information distribution and social media scheduling.
- Assist with the delivery of externally funded projects under the guidance of the Community Programs Coordinator.
- Coordinate project operational budgets as allocated under the direction of the Community Programs Coordinator.
- Play a lead role in organising Council's involvement in community events that support the programs and services in community development.

**About you**:

- Experience with a health promotion or Events background is highly desirable
- You are passionate about you local community and making a difference.
- You are great at engaging people and networking
- You have excellent negotiation skills.
- You are a great planner, and you get things done.
- You like variety, no day will be the same.
- You have experience managing multiple projects.
- You are passionate about the Children and Youth of Today
