**Strategic Communications & Engagement**:
Strategic Communications & Engagement is responsible for the department's corporate communications, sponsorship and events as well as media and social media. Services provided by Strategic Communications & Engagement ensures that the department has a strategic corporate communications framework and consistent approach to engaging with schools, members of the community, the media, business, and other government agencies.
About the Role

**As Programs and Events Coordinator you will**:

- Consult with schools, contractors and key internal and external stakeholders and liaise with project officers and management to plan creative strategies for programs and events
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the department's programs and events
- Work closely in consultation with CGEN creative director and vocal coaches
- In consultation with the Director and Operations Manager, coordinate the plot/staging book for CGEN
- Coordinate the development of a video to celebrate International Women's Day to be made available online for departmental staff
- Assist in the dissemination of project and event information to departmental staff and members of the public through internal and external communication channels including social media
- Support the delivery of a range of programs and events throughout the year.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Must have project and events experience
- Experience and/or an understanding of arts education programs would be advantageous.
- After hours and weekend work may be required for the role.
- A current Blue Card and drivers' licence are required.
